  So the quality of the shield is good. My experience however was very bad because instead of the chest area the wind is directly blowing at the helmet even at the lowest position (there is no buffeting and helmet shaking though!). The result is a very noisy ride, even with the red Alpine earplugs. The bike is a GS 1250 with standard suspension, standard seat in the high position, and 180 cm tall rider. At 90-100 km/h the noise was like doing 150 on the highway. When stood up the noise disappears and everyting is peaceful and quiet, the exhaust notes are audible, barely any wind noise (with earplugs). So I would recommend it to the really tall riders, like 185-190cm or above. I had to revert to my Z Stream 50cm tall windshield.
